“SheRoes” is ‘She’ heroes.
Sheroes Hangout was an initiative by Stop Acid Attacks campaign that was founded in New Delhi in 2013. At Sheroes Hangout, woman victims of acid attacks, come together to overcome their past, find new strength and to demonstrate their fighting spirit.
Although acid attacks have taken their outer beauty but not their soul and their will to survive.
in3 visited Sheroes Hangout was on 1st May 2022. The ladies of Sheroes welcomed in3 with drinks and breakfast. They poured their hearts out in describing the horrible experiences they had gone through as a result of acid attacks.
in3 entertained and encouraged the women with music and songs. Pankaj from in3 also gifted a beautiful painting made by him and signed by all in3 employees.
Shriya and Ifrah, from in3, expressed their views on acid attacks and other society evils that women have to face and saluted the women who fought back powerfully. The women of Sheroes encouraged everyone to take a stand for themselves in the face of difficult situations.
